Gr. 2 Ti Flanges offers excellent corrosion resistance, superior formability and strength between Titanium grade 1 and Titanium grade 3. Meanwhile, these Gr. 2 Ti Pipe Flanges undergo an allotropic transformation from the hexagonal close-packed alpha phase to the body-centered cubic beta phase at a temperature of 882.5 Degree C (1620.5 Degree F). Titanium Alloy Grade 2 Flanges can also be used for parts requiring strength up to 400 Degree F and oxidation resistance to 600 Degree F.
What is the difference between 90/10 and 70/30 copper-nickel?
CuNi 90/10 is more economical and offers good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, ideal for standard marine piping and heat exchangers. CuNi 70/30 provides higher strength and better performance in aggressive or high-velocity seawater, commonly used in offshore and desalination systems.
