Nimonic Alloy 75 and Nimonic Alloy 75 sheet in various qualities, sizes and grades which are equivalent to Nimonic 75 and Nimonic 75 sheets (2mm to 12mm). Nimonic 75 sheet is available in thicknesses from 0.016 inch to 0.156 inch. The Nimonic 75 large format plate will also reduce the size of the undesirable heat affected zone caused by welding. We also stock and supply extra large Nimonic 75 sheets, thin and ultra-thin Nimonic Alloy 75 tapes and films, rolled down to 2 microns. Superior technology as well as extensive quality control from steel production to finish ensure stable production of Nimonic 75 hot rolled plates in consistently excellent quality.
The types in which these Nimonic Alloys 80 sheets / plates are available are checkered plates, hot rolled sheets, perforated sheets, cold rolled sheets etc. Nimonic Alloy mainly consists of Chromium and Nickel. This alloy is well known for its low high temperature creep and better workability. Addictive substances such as titanium, carbon, aluminum are added. Nimonic alloy is available in 80A Nimonic alloy grades etc. This nimonic 80 is an age-hardened forming alloy and is strengthened by the alloying elements, namely carbon, titanium, aluminum etc.
Nimonic Alloy 90 is a precipitation hardenable Nickel-Chromium-Cobalt alloy with high strength at temperatures up to 1300°F (704°C) and creep and oxidation resistance up to 1688°F (920°C).
What is the difference between 90/10 and 70/30 copper-nickel?
CuNi 90/10 is more economical and offers good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, ideal for standard marine piping and heat exchangers. CuNi 70/30 provides higher strength and better performance in aggressive or high-velocity seawater, commonly used in offshore and desalination systems.
