What Are Monel Products?
Monel is a family of nickel-copper alloys used where a component must work in corrosive media while retaining useful strength and toughness. Alloy 400 is a solid-solution grade that is strengthened through cold working. K-500 uses the same nickel-copper base with aluminum and titanium additions, followed by controlled aging to develop higher strength and hardness.
