Monel
Monel is a series of nickel-copper alloys including tiny quantities of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. Nickel content ranges from 52 to 67 percent. Because it contains less than 60% copper, monel is not a cupronickel alloy.
Lakshya International is the largest supplier of Monel 400 and k500 Products, For any Enquiries get in touch with us, We are your trusted brand for Monel Products.
Characteristics of Monel
Monel is stronger than steel
Malleable
Low thermal expansion coefficient
Highly resistant to alkalis
Welding, brazing, and soldering are all options.
Market Applications
Monel began to be phased out in the 1950s in favor of stainless steel, which could make the same shapes at a lower cost (due to the use of less nickel).
