SS 316 / 316Ti Angles exhibit excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments. This type of Angles is subject to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments and to stress corrosion cracking above about 60 Degree C & provides a general purpose stainless steel with good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, to many organic and inorganic chemicals and to food and beverages. It contains both chromium (usually 18%) and nickel (usually 8%) metals as the main non-iron constituent, is a variation of the basic 18-8 grade, Type 202 Angle, with a higher chromium and lower carbon content. As AISI 316 / 316Ti SS grade has a minimum of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, SUS 316 / 316Ti Angles is also combined with a maximum of 0.08% carbon. The ASTM A276 SS 316 / 316Ti Angles can be easily fabricated and they also offer superlative formability. High Corrosion resistance and Oxidation resistance makes these angles applicable under deep-drawn marine conditions. The SS 1.4435 / 1.4571 Angles can resist Oxidation in infrequent service up to 870°C and 925°C in Continuous service. The SS 316 / 316Ti angles are very price effective and hence they are widely used in several applications.

CuNi 90/10 is more economical and offers good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, ideal for standard marine piping and heat exchangers. CuNi 70/30 provides higher strength and better performance in aggressive or high-velocity seawater, commonly used in offshore and desalination systems.
