These NITRONIC 50 Hex Bars is a high Nitrogen and Molybdenum bearing austenitic stainless steel product with corrosion resistance comparable to or surpassing 316L and 317L. Our Stainless Steel XM-19 Hex Bars is nitrogen – strengthened austenitic stainless steel that has properties that combine excellent strength, ductility, toughness, corrosion resistance and fabricability. To be precise, these XM-19 Stainless Steel Hex Bars have approximately double the yield strength of stainless steel 304 and 316 and have better corrosion resistance than 317L stainless steel.

NITRONIC 60 Hex bars are austenitic stainless steel with a silicon / manganese alloy with double yield strength of SS 304 material. NITRONIC 60 Hex Bar are a fully austenitic alloy and was originally designed as a temperature alloy. Alloy 218 Hex bars provide a much cheaper way to combat wear and scuffing compared to cobalt alloys and high nickel alloys. Alloy 218 bars contain a nitrogen addition to the alloy which increases strength internally, rather than nitriding to the surface when machining certain types of steel. Alloy 218 Hex Bars are known for their excellent galling resistance, even at elevated temperatures. UNS S21800 rods are austenitic stainless steel resistant to scuffing and wear. The NITRONIC 60 Hex bars are nitrogen-reinforced austenitic stainless steel with exceptional strength and resistance to wear and scuffing.

CuNi 90/10 is more economical and offers good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, ideal for standard marine piping and heat exchangers. CuNi 70/30 provides higher strength and better performance in aggressive or high-velocity seawater, commonly used in offshore and desalination systems.
