The ASTM B337 Titanium Gr 2 Seamless Pipe is a specification that envelopes seamless as well as welded titanium pipes. This Titanium WERKSTOFF NR. 3.7035 Pipe is intended to be used for general corrosion resistance and for applications that involve being used in elevated temperature service.

Titanium Alloy Gr 2 Round Pipe is particularly useful for those applications where formability & corrosion resistance & high tensile strength properties are considered to be important requirements.

Due to the wide usability of the Grade 2 Titanium Hollow Pipe combined with its attractive features such as good weldability, increased tensile strength,  ductility as well as formability, ASTM B337 Gr 2 Alloy Seamless Pipe is considered to be an ideal choice for many industries. Grade 2 Titanium Seamless Pipe has substantially moderate strength and the Titanium Alloy Gr 2 Pipe has an excellent cold forming properties too. Another characteristic of the Titanium Gr 2 EFW Pipe is that the alloy offers over-the-top welding properties.

A resourceful property of the Titanium Gr.2 Hexagonal Pipe is its brilliant resistance to oxidation as well as localized corrosion. In seawater, this Titanium Gr 2 ERW Pipe is known to have excellent performance with regards to being fully resistant to corrosion at elevated temperatures up to 600 F. This property is what makes the  UNS R50400 Welded Pipe well suited for use in a variety of marine uses.

Annealing is carried out on the Titanium Gr.2 Welded Pipe at a temperature range of 650°C – 760°C. After annealing the titanium grade 2 seamless pipe is then still air-cooled. Pickling is done on the grade 2 pure titanium pipe in order to remove the alpha case. An additional step of pickling may be required to be done on the Cp Grade 2 Welded Pipe before further fabrication or machining.
