The material is strong with a yield strength of 30ksi and a minimum tensile strength of 75ksi. The material is hard with a Brinell hardness score of 217. The dimensions of the flanges vary according to different standards. There are ANSI, B, ASA, and APA standards, and nominal hole sizes range from ½ inch to 48 inch. Grade 347 consists of 17% chromium, 9% nickel and carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, cobalt and iron in the composition.
