Alloy 50 Round Bars are austenitic stainless steel with a blend of strength and corrosion resistance superior to 316, 316 / 316L, 317 and 317 / 317L stainless steel grades. Our XM-19 stainless steel round bars are also capable of almost double the yield strength compared to similar austenitic grades. XM-19 stainless steel round bars have very good mechanical properties at both elevated and sub-zero temperatures. Other features that distinguish our UNS S20910 stainless steel round bars from other grades of stainless steel are the fact that they are not magnetized by heavy cold working.

NITRONIC 60 rods are austenitic stainless steel with a silicon / manganese alloy with double yield strength of SS 304 material. NITRONIC 60 rods are a fully austenitic alloy and were originally designed as a temperature alloy. Alloy 218 round bars provide at best price way to combat wear and scuffing compared to cobalt alloys and high nickel alloys. Alloy 218 bars contain a nitrogen addition to the alloy which increases strength internally, rather than nitriding to the surface when machining certain types of steel. Alloy 218 rods are known for their excellent galling resistance, even at elevated temperatures. UNS S21800 rods are austenitic stainless steel resistant to scuffing and wear. The NITRONIC 60 square bars are nitrogen-reinforced austenitic stainless steel with exceptional strength and resistance to wear and scuffing.
