Nickel 200 Plates / Nickel 201 Sheets can be easily welded to carbon steel, alloy steels or low carbon austenitic stainless steels using low carbon austenitic stainless steel with an intermediate molybdenum content to two different metals as a binder. The forging temperature of these Nickel S31803 coils should be 1100 degrees C – 1250 degrees C, where reheated as often as necessary and cool in still air.

Nickel 200 Plates / Nickel 201 Sheets have excellent corrosion resistance in a wider range of media with exceptional crevice corrosion and pitting resistance in both chloride-containing atmosphere and seawater. As a result, this product is used in many applications around the world. It also exhibits a low coefficient of thermal expansion and greater thermal conductivity than austenitic steel. It is also suitable for operation at temperatures up to 300 degrees C.
