Our Monel K500 sheets are alloys with excellent performance characteristics that pay off significantly as a result of binary melting by electroslag refining (ESR), which ensures the highest and cleanest quality of the delivered material. These Monel K500 plates are used for seawater pump impellers and shafts, and are also used in the oil well industry for valve trims and other parts. Monel K500 (UNS N05500) coils in their era – hard form tend to better towards SCC in certain atmospheres than Monel 400 coils. Meanwhile, these Monel K500 strapping coils are also offered to our customers in various sizes and shapes. Perforated Monel K500 coils are a high chromium and nickel alloy with excellent resistance to many corrosive water media and high temperature atmospheres. These Alloy K500 plates have the highest chromium content (29% Cr) of the nickel alloys suitable for pressure equipment manufacturing, providing exceptional resistance to oxidation. Alloy K500 coils are known as high performance alloys and can be formed into a variety of shapes which also have good creep and oxidation resistance. In addition to corrosion resistance, these Alloy K500 coils have high strength, good metallurgical stability and favorable manufacturing properties.

ASTM B127 Monel 400 plates are made of a blend of copper and nickel with approximately 67% nickel and 23% copper. Monel UNS N04400 sheets have a solid base and exhibit excellent properties. The nickel content of Monel 400 plates helps them achieve high strength and durability. They also offer high resistance to corrosion and oxidation even at subzero temperatures. ASTM B127 Monel 400 sheets are resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids, especially when vented. Monel 400 boards are also resistant to running brackish or sea water. Hence, Monel UNS N04400 sheets have many applications in the off-shore industry. Monel UNS N04400 sheets also offer excellent welding properties. The applications of ASTM B127 Monel 400 plates are wide and can be found in a variety of industries. Due to their properties, they are widely used in marine applications. Marine Engineering and Gasoline and Freshwater Tanks use Monel 400 Chemical and Hydrocarbon Processing Equipment, and boiler feedwater heaters and other heat exchangers are also manufactured using Monel UNS N04400 sheets.
