IS 2062 E350C Plates are made of heavy-duty structural steel. The E350C grade is classified under the IS 2062 standard, which is tougher and highly weldable, making it a suitable choice in extreme fabrication and construction jobs. The plates perform well under different temperatures, cyclic loads and moderately corrosive conditions. They also have better resistance against rust, oxidation and low indices of marine exposure, IS 2062 E350C is desired in applications where structural stability and resistance to corrosion are very important and especially in the long run. IS 2062 E350C Material Properties

IS 2062 E350C is also a high tensile structural steel that has excellent mechanical strength and good performance. The material has a minimum tensile strength of 410 N/mm 2 and a minimum yield strength of 350 N/mm 2, and that’s why it is applicable in heavy-duty structural and fabrication work. It offers superior workability, formability and weldability, hence easy processing in the manufacturing process. The value of the steel grade is also appreciated for its durability, dimensional correctness and prolonged service life. IS 2062 E350C is highly resistant to corrosion, oxidation, pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride-induced stress cracking, and thus it is reliable in harsh or corrosive conditions. It is well ductile as well as tough and hard at low temperatures. Sensitization or precipitation is also not possible on the material, which also increases its corrosion resistance and, consequently, its overall performance.
